Do I need to provide BOM or equipment data?
No — BOM data is optional. Core data cleaning and enrichment works perfectly without it. However, if you provide equipment lists or BOMs, we can run full inventory intelligence analysis during enrichment: orphan detection, BOM gap analysis, and criticality flagging. The audit report will note what's possible with BOM data if you don't provide it upfront.

What is inventory intelligence?
Inventory intelligence goes beyond cleaning. Once your data is standardised and classified, we analyse it against your equipment/BOM data to find orphan parts (stock for decommissioned assets), slow-moving inventory, criticality gaps, and BOM linkage issues. This typically reveals 20-40% potential inventory cost reduction.

What if I only have spare parts data — no equipment lists?
We can still deliver significant value. Core cleaning, classification, deduplication, and manufacturer normalization don't require BOM data. We can also flag safety-critical items from NMQ classification and identify slow-movers if you provide transaction history. The inventory analysis step runs in limited mode and highlights what full BOM linkage would unlock.
